What goes together better than pretty girls and pretty cats? Love this shoot for Style Stalker’s latest look-book, the blonde on white looks amazing! And how purr-fect is the cat’s face in that last shot?

*Blog Design* Maiden of Mirth

I recently finished up a blog design (through Freckled Nest) for Maiden of Mirth, a brand new fashion blog based in London! It’s edited by a lovely lady named Linda, who features in the header and sidebar design (isn’t she gorgeous?!) Linda and her friends will be sharing their fashion finds and adventures on Maiden of Mirth, and I can’t wait to follow along and see what they get up to! Linda has already shared some beautiful photos of herself modeling for Peekaboo Vintage on ASOS Marketplace, and some hot accessory finds, so head over and say hi!

Rock On
So these are paintings. Yes. Paintings! I. Know.
They’re by artist Carly Waito (via OracleFox) who photographs precious rocks way way way up close and then reproduces them in oil paints. I would love one of these mega-sized up on the wall! However… all of her work on her website is sold and I’m guessing they cost a million dollars. So beautiful though!

High Collars & Low Heels
My beloved black ankle boots have, after 4 years of love and being re-heeled and re-soled, to split at the sides. Booooo. So I’m on the hunt for some flat black boots to replace them. I’m also obsessing about over-sized shirts with high-collars and dip-backs….. love the massive ASOS one!
Anything you’re obsessing over as it turns into Winter? (or Summer you lucky Kiwi’s!)

Fancy Nomads
Some more gorgeous shots by photographer Signe Vilstrup (I posted some others earlier this week)
The little pops of pastel within the natural tones is what got me, not to mention the amazing fashion (the feathered cape in the first one, and the layered scales top in the third picture down, amazing!!)

The Bazaarium
These are amazing!!
Witty little Victorian inspired artworks by The Bazaarium- I love the tones and the light silhouettes! I think my favourite is the “Hi, Bye” Bear one, and the “Nice Rack” one for it’s tongue in cheek value! There are loads more on The Bazaarium website, I recommend you go check them out!

Glamourpuss
A smoky salon filled with ferns and ladies in leopard print and spangles…. total glamour-puss salon shots by Danish photographer Signe Vilstrup…… I’m sure I’ll be sharing more of her work shortly! x
Aloha Tropicana
I’m loving the look of these tropical, vintage style posters by graphic artist Kerne Erickson. The bright-but-muted colours are warming me up on this grey London day! Love the typography too.

Little Boxed Worlds
Small fabrications or sculptures of interiors by artist Charles Matton. They’re like tiny little boxed worlds! The rhinocerous one caught my eye.
From All Visual Arts:
“The miniature spaces represent real world interiors and revisited memories from Matton’s own life, as well as other recognizable places such as Francis Bacon’s studio, or the library of his close friend Jean Baudrillard.
The artist also fabricated interiors from his imagination, intended to recreate cherished sensations, such as the loneliness felt in an abandoned hotel corridor or the intimacy of a forgotten and disused library.”
